Student financing

Fund further

Ways students commonly fund training, and a planner for your own numbers. GA-7 Cougar does not offer loans, credit or federal aid.

01

Pay as you go

Pay for training as you fly it. Simple, flexible and nothing owed in advance.

02

Milestone payment plan

A proposed structure where payments line up with training milestones. Offered only if and when the school agrees written terms with you.

03

Third-party financing

Some students use outside lenders. AOPA Finance describes a flight-training line of credit. It is an external resource — GA-7 Cougar has no partnership and cannot speak to eligibility or rates.

04

Scholarships & sponsors

Scholarships and employer or family sponsors can reduce what you pay. Check each program's current deadlines directly.

Enrollment deposit vs. application fee

Applying is free. If you are accepted, the school may ask for an enrollment deposit — money credited toward your tuition, not a separate processing fee. Its amount, refund and cancellation terms will be given to you in writing after your application is reviewed. Nothing is charged on this site today.

If you use a private education loan, federal rules on lender disclosures (such as Regulation Z §1026.46–47) may apply depending on how the loan is structured. See the CFPB regulation page. We do not state that any arrangement here qualifies.
